Axel Taha had a very solid weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Seniors Camp in Lewiston, ID on July 11-12, 2026. The Canadian Long Snapper continues to show that he is a quick learner and someone who consistently applies coaching. He has good starting form with an excellent follow through, creating a super smooth snapping motion that produces a ball that is very easy to catch. Axel hovered in the mid-5s in the 40-yard dash and posted a very solid 4.7 in the 5-10-5, showing good overall athleticism. His snap times were consistently in the mid-to-high .8s, and those numbers have the potential to improve significantly as he continues to focus on slow motion drills and gets his legs more involved in the snapping motion. Axel is a good kid who had a solid weekend in Idaho, and he has the foundation to continue making steady improvements. Looking forward to seeing him this fall!
