Gavin Morrell had a strong performance at VEGAS 47 on January 17-18, 2026. He’s got a nice athletic frame with room to add solid weight over the next couple of years and already moves really well on his feet. His starting form is solid, hands are quick, and there’s no wasted movement. The spiral is tight and the ball is very easy to catch. Slow motion drills will help get his long, athletic legs fully involved in his snapping motion, which will drastically increase the consistency of his speed. This is a super simple fix that’ll pay off big time. Massive amount of upside and I’m a big fan of his personality—coaches will love him. I am looking forward to seeing Morrell at a spring time location!
