Mattias Girgis had a fantastic weekend at VEGAS XLV on January 18-19. Mattias is a confident and coachable long snapper that developed well throughout the weekend. Mattias was one long snapper that you could see get better the two days. Mattias snaps a quick ball with a tight spiral. His form is really solid and I’d like to see him continue to work on getting his legs fully locked out and extended back to the punter. He showed me a ton of improvement from when I last saw him in October. Has been developing really well and can tell that he has been putting in a ton of work. He did really well during the agility section of the camp and showed me that he can move pretty well on his feet. Overall a very solid outing from Mattias. I’m looking forward to seeing his continued progress and hard work at the next Rubio Long Snapping Camp in his area.
