Preston Kemp did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLI Event on January 14-15, 2023! First off, Preston has one of the best attitudes in his whole class. Really easy to speak to and get along with so he will do well in college. He moves well on his feet and I loved how well he accelarates out of turns. On Sunday, all Long Snappers go through an agility course and Preson crushed it. He can go from zero to full speed with ease so there is no doubt he will be a facfor on the punt coverage team. Locking down his release point will be huge for Preston's accuracy throughout college. Very good upside.
Preston Kemp showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in North Carolina on November 13th, 2022. Great attitude and excellent starting from on Preston. He snaps with some good rage and I love to watch it. Love to see him lean back more as that will greatly increase his overall accuracy and give Preston more speed. The more Preston can drive his eyes/head through to the punter, the more power/speed he will get on the ball as well. Keep a very close eye on Preston at VEGAS XLI in January and beyond
Kemp was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Seniors Camp on July 9-10, 2022. Athletic Long Snapper with room to put on some good size over the next couple of years. Ball is quick and his starting form is excellent. Coachable Long Snapper that is a super quick learner. Getting the ball lined up at the start of his snapping motion and making sure he is following through to the correct release point will increase his overall accuracy. Good attitude and Kemp is able to use his whole body really well. Solid jump in the rankings and you definitely want to keep an eye on this Long Snapper from Florida.
