Player Review

Ben Blanton performed well at the TOP 12 Camp in July. Built well and you can see he spends a great deal of time in the weight room. Very strong athlete. Form is good and the harder he snaps the ball, the better Blanton does with his Long Snapping. Extremely hard working Long Snapper that is a work horse. His college coach is going to love his overall demeanor.

Ben Blanton was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in GA on March 19th, 2023. Starting form is very good and he's done a great job of whining out so his body can get through easier to the punter. There's no doubt this kid knows where the weight room is as he is built really well. His hands are quick and a spiral is nice and tight. When Ben is on, he is very very on and can snap a college level ball right now. The harder he snaps the ball in the more he locks down his release point the more dominant he will be in his class Good upside on this very hard-working Long Snapper.

Ben Blanton did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLI Event on January 14-15, 2023! Super fit and strong Long Snapper with tons of overall power throughout his body. As he contineus to grow, Blanton will need to adjust his stance to allow his strong upper body to get through with each snap. This will increase his oveall accuracy and consistency. He is able to easily snap at college level speeds and can move well on his feet. Moved like a champ on the three cone drill and showed solid athleticism throughout the agility station on Sunday. The more size he puts on, the more dominant he will be this year and beyond. Hard working Long Snapper. 

Ben Blanton showed me a lot of good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on October 16th, 2022. Extremely strong Long Snapper that is built with tons of overall powerful. Blanton is growing and I want his stance to grow with him. If Blanton can widen out a bit, it will allow his powerful chest to get through with ease to increase his overall accuracy and consistency. His ball comes out of the gate quickly and he is able to snap at college speeds when he is on. Consistency of his speed is the main thing I will be looking for at VEGAS XLI in January. Really good Long Snapper that is going to make a college coach very happy in two years.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
