Player Review
Fischer did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping TOP 12 Camp on Jul 12-14, 2022. He has a great personality and he can snap a D1 ball right now. His snaps are smooth, clean and easy to catch. Locking down his release point and increasing the overall speed of his legs will drastically improve the consistency of his snaps. Fischer can flat out fly on his feet and will easily be a factor on the punt coverage team. Runs with aggression and has great balance. Coachable Long Snapper that his college coaches will love on and off the field.
Fischer Reed was excellent at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XL Event on May 14-15, 2022. First off, he has one of the best attitudes in the country. This kid is always smiling and having a good time, but when it is time to lock in, he locks in! It is like he flips a switch and he is focused to dominate. Athletically, he moves very well on his feet and is super smooth with everything he does after he snaps the ball. His snaps are also smooth and they have good zip on them. If his legs can be sped up just a tad more, his snaps would be closer to .65 than .75. Keep an eye on him at the TOP 12 Camp in July!
