Alexzander Martinez did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Southern California on October 23rd, 2022. His starting form is great and so is his attitude. Martinez can use his body well and he has some good pop from his lower half. When he is on, he is very on and has the ability to snap a college level ball. Easy fixes that will pay off big time are making sure he is leaning back and driving his chest through to the punter. I want to see Martinez lean back so he can dominate his class. Consistency of his accuracy and speed are the big things I will be checking out at VEGAS XLI in January. Like I said, when Martinez is on, he is very on
Martinez was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Seniors Camp on July 9-10, 2022. Good attitude and I love the explosion he shows when he snaps the ball. Leaning back will help a ton with his overall speed on the ball. Driving his elbows and locking down his spiral will also increase his overall speed on punts. Martinez uses his body like a champ and he is right on the cusp of dominating. Keep a very close eye on this super coachable Long Snapper.
