Player Review
Gabe had a very impressive showing at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in New Jersey on December 18, 2022. He does a very nice job getting deep on his follow through and holding his finish, which shows in his accuracy. He has an incredibly smooth delivery and throws a very catchable ball. If he emphasizes being direct with his elbows instead of coming straight up and back with the ball, he can really maximize his efficiency. I would like to also see Gabe get a little bit longer from butt to ball and widen his stance a bit. This will instantly give him more power and make for a more inviting path for his elbows to get through his thighs without disruption. Once Gabe combines this with his already quick hands, I expect to see him snapping some very impressive times while maintaining his solid accuracy. I look forward to seeing Gabe compete with the very best in his class at VEGAS XLI in January.Gabe Simpkins was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in North Carolina on November 13th, 2022. His hands are really quick and the ball jumps out of the gate really well. His starting form is good and it will be great if Gabe van widen out his stance to enable his upper body to get all the way through to the punter. Locking down his release point while really pressing the gas to use all of his muscular frame is going in his snapping motion. Really good upside and Gabe is right on the cusp of greatness. Some slight adjustments will be huge for Gabe at VEGAS XLI in January and beyond
