Player Review
Jaxon Engstrand had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in IL on April 14th, 2024. Super athletic Long Snapper that is athletic enough to play two positions in college. Great frame and he can pass an eyeball test from a college coach very quicly. Strong Long Snapper that is EASILY able to snap a college level ball and when he is on, Jaxon is VERY on and is one of the top Long Snappers in his class. When Jaxon gets set and locks down his release point, he will win any camp he is at (yes, even at VEGAS XLIV on May 4-5). Jaxon is going to be a great pick up for any coach that gets him. Jaxon Engstrand was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in NC on March 16th, 2024. First off, he is an incredible athlete that will undoubtedly be a factor on the punt coverage team. Form is good and Jaxon is able to use his whole body very well to gain some great speed on the ball. When Jaxon is leaning back and locks down his release point, he simply doesn't miss and is easily snapping a college level ball back to the punter. Keep a very close eye on him at VEGAS XLIV on May 4-5. If he snaps the way I know he can, he should easily be chosen as a TOP 12 Camp Invitee.
