Jaxon Engstrand was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in IL on December 11th, 2022. First of all, this kid is super athletic and moves well on his feet. His form is good and the ball does a great job of jumping out of the gate. His timing is almost perfect and if he can get his legs synced up with his upper half, he will be easily snapping at college level speeds. When Jaxon is on, he is VERY on. Leaning back will help with his overall accuracy and consistency. Really solid Long Snapper that should dominate at VEGAS XLI in January!Jaxon Engstrand showed me a lot of good things at the Underclassmen Invitational on July 16-17, 2022. Pure athlete that is easily going to be a factor on the punt coverage team. He is built really well and will easily pass an eyeball test from a college coach. Starting form is good and his hands are quick. The less thinking he does, the better he does. Jaxon is very close to getting his timing locked down with his whole body being used in the snapping motion and when that happens, he will easily dominate his class. Tremendous upside on Jaxon.
