Player Review
Thomas McDonald had a phenomenal day at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Los Angeles on March 10, 2024. Thomas is one of the hardest working long snappers in his class. Well built long snapper with a solid frame. Starting form is exceptional and he does a great job sitting on his heels and getting his weight back. When Thomas snaps with all of his power he snaps a college level bell every time. Phenomenal personality and extremely coachable. One of the fastest improving long snappers in his class. Expect him to start dominating his class very soon as well as dominating at VEGAS XLIV on May 4-5 ____________ Thomas McDonald was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLIII Event on January 13-14, 2024. First off, he is growing rapidly and can already pass an eyeball test from a college coach. Form is good and Thomas is able to use his whole body really well to get some good speed on the ball. Averages just above .75 so he is right at the cusp of snapping a college level ball right now and still has two years left of high school left. When Thomas gets his hands set on the ball and really drives his eyes/head through, he simply doesn't miss his target.
