John had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in New Jersey on December 18, 2022. He does a great job using his entire body to deliver a very powerful snap. I like the way that John drives his elbows but I would like to see him be more direct with his ball path by going straight back instead of up and back. This will instantly improve his times without sacrificing power. If he can do that and make a habit out of getting set, pausing, and then exploding through the snap, he is going to be snapping very impressive times. John continues to improve and is on a rapid pace to becoming one of the top snappers in his class. I look forward to seeing John prove himself at Vegas XLI in January.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
