Player Review
Gavin was impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in New Jersey on December 18, 2022. He has a great combination of size and flexibility which screams instant potential. Gavin has a smooth delivery and does a nice job of getting his eyes through and finishing deep. However, because he doesn’t fully use his legs and drive his butt, his deep finish can sometimes result in a high release. If Gavin can incorporate his legs more, and match it with the power of his upper body, he is going to become very consistent and snap some insanely fast times. Gavin should be able to accomplish this in short time and be ready to have an even more impressive showing at Vegas XLI in January.
Accomplishments
RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
