Charlie has improved immensely in the past year. Has dropped some critical lbs and is now snapping better than ever. VERY strong Long Snapper that is only going to get better as his confidence gains ground. Form is solid and the ball is fast. Accuracy is good and his blocking is great. His biggest problem might be if he goes to college to play another position.
Charlie continues to be one of the most physical and strong Long Snappers in the class of 2011. Snapping with a lot of confidence and continuining on his upward path that he started in Vegas in January. When his ball is tight, it is beyond fast (low .7s). Solid Long Snapper that continues to improve.
Accomplishments
2009 Junior Year: As a young 16 year old Junior, Charlie started every game at strong-side Defensive tackle and Long Snapper for the 2009 CIF-Southern Section Champions, Charter Oak HS Chargers. Charlie led the league in total tackles by a defensive lineman, added 5.5 sacks, and was perfect on all of his 56 punt snap attempts. He was an integral part of a daunting defensive team that shut out the entire league (1st in league history), allowed a season average 10 points per game, and is sending 4 of his senior teammates to D1 schools on full scholarships.

40 yard run - 4.85 and Shuttle run - 4.79 (laser timed)

Charlie is a Top Gun Athlete for the FBU Top Gun Camp in July 2010
2008 Sophomore Year: As a 15 year old sophomore, Charlie started 5 games as a Defensive tackle for the 2008 CIF-Southern Section Champions Charter Oak HS Chargers. He earned his first Varsity Letter as a sophomore as well as the Ironman patch (given to players who participate in every off-season work-out, practice, and every game). In addition to his defensive line and special team responsibilities, Charlie was also back-up Long Snapper.
2007 Freshman Year: Freshman team starter on the offense & defensive lines and played the special teams including Long Snapping and PATs. Charlie received the Coaches award for Defensive Lineman of the Year.
