Guthrie is a large man that needs to realize just how strong he is. Accurate and smooth Long Snapper that is sitting on a massive lower half that he can use for his snap to really make it speed up. I have seen him several excellent snaps in a row so I know he can do it. Now, he just needs to fine tune his form to enable his frame to really get the ball moving. Great person with a good attitude.
Guthrie really impressed me in IL this summer. One of those kids that you hopes keep working on the things you tell him to do. He did and did he how! Very strong and quick snap. Ball explodes out of his hands. Really pops. Form is excellent. Want to see him keep his weight back, snap a tad harder and focus on blocking. Solid personality and handles pressure very well.
Guthrie is a Long Snapper with very quick and strong hands. Couple things to focus on would be lowering his butt for max speed and power, making sure his eyes get all the way through and keeping his weight back. Handles pressure very well and is very accurate.
