    Player Review
Wirtel had a good afternoon at the Rubio Long Snapping summer camp in IL. He is snapping with a VERY good amount of confidence right now and it is paying off with his speed and confidence. Won the speed competition and shows no signs of letting up on the throttle. With more consistency of speed, he could take the top spot in his class. Always improving.

Nice work by Wirtel at VEGAS XXVI in May. Incredibly long frame that can hold a ton more weight in the next couple of years. Starting to gain some real confidence with his snapping and the more of it he gets, the better he will be. Said it all along, he could be tops in his class. Ball is crisp and on target. Form is solid and he has great speed. Listens VERY well. Coachable.

    OFFER HIM NOW!!!!

HERE WE GO WIRTEL! Steven looked outstanding at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in IL. He adjusted his hands on the ball and his spiral is very tight and right on target. Ball was flying out of his hands all day. Easily one of the best at the camp. Showed good confidence. Locking down his release point and continuing to put on some lbs will be key since he is built so long. This kid could take the top spot soon.

Wirtel showed waves of brilliance at VEGAS XXV. When he was on, he was really on. Tremendous frame that will be able to hold another fifty pounds in college. Moves extremely well and was, easily, one of the most athletic Long Snappers in Vegas. He blocked and released well then was really smooth through the agility and tackling station. Snapping wise, I need to see him work on the spiral of the ball. Seems to have toyed with a new hand placement and it is causing some issues with his spiral. Also, needs to make sure his release point is the same for accuracy. Snapping full power will help a ton. An IMMENSE of potential once he gets it all figured out. Really close to greatness.
