    Player Review

Samuel did very well at the Rubio Long Snapping Midwest Fall Camp on December 9th, 2018. The tallest Long Snapper in the class of 2019 and might be the Long Snapper with the most upside. Form is good, he snaps a great ball and the more he drives his chest through, the more domiant he is with his Snapping. The upside on this kid is off the charts. His strength coach in college is going to drool looking at his frame and know that he can put on forty pounds of greatness on him. Size and strength will be the keys along with making sure he is really driving through with his upper body. When he drives his upper body through and follows through with his fingers, he is simply incredible.

Samuel was flat out great at The TOP 12 Camp in CA. He is most likely the tallest Long Snapper to go through Rubio Long Snapper and has a frame that could easily put on 50 lbs over the next couple of years. Samuel was snapping an extremely smooth ball all three days and didn't show any signs of stress which was very exciting to see. I had thought he would come in and be a bit initimidated but he left no doubt to me that he definitely deserved to be there and that he was/is one of the top Long Snappers in the country. Potential is simply off the charts. If I was a college coach, I would keep a very, very close eye on Samuel as he is the type of Long Snapper that can be doing this for a long, long time.

Samuel was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. Massive human being that a college weight lifiting coach is going to have a field day with. He can easily put on another fifty pounds and be an absolute monster throughout college and beyond. Really need to see Samuel focus on driving his upper body through to create more consistent speed and even more accuracy. RSI shows up in the mid 20s consistently and I know, for a fact, that if he drives his upper body through with great force he will dominate. The potential is simply off the charts for Samuel. Increasing his speed and snapping with confidence will easily push him into an invite to the TOP 12 Camp Invitee.
