Player Review
Duffey showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. Smooth Long Snapper that has good consistency and a great attitude. If Duffey can learn to really lead with his elbows it will create a ton more speed on the ball and get his times well under .85 in less than a month. Increasing his snap speeds and his overall athleticism will push Duffey well up the rankings ladder and get him fully ready for the next level. Big fan of his attitude and drive.
Duffey snapped well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Arizona on Sunday December 10th, 2017. Brett really stepped up showing confidence in live punt situations. Like that he has a strong build and can put some zip on the ball when he follows through with his eyes. Lots of up side for him if he continues to work on release point and speed. I would like to see him be more fluid (a little less choppy) from start to finish. If he can find a rhythm and continue to fire the ball back with confidence I see him making a splash come competition time in Vegas XXX! January 13th-14th.
