Player Review

Knight had a great day at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in GA on April 28, 2019. Super quick hands allow his ball to absolutely rip back to the punter. Hard working Long Snapper that is always improving. Knight’s hands are some of the quickest in the country and he can be flat out hard to time him at times. His body is rock hard right now and his legs look like tree trunks. You can definitely tell he has been in wrestling mode as he is a monster right now. Locking down his spiral will really help Knight snap an even faster ball and definitely make it easier to catch for the punter. Hardworking Long Snapper that is beyond strong. 

Knight had a great turnout at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. Strong bodied and he moves well on his feet. Definitely an athlete that will be a factor on the punt coverage team. His form is excellent and his hands are like rockets. Easily gets the ball back to the punter under .75 at fifteen yards. Ball is easy to catch and his work ethic is off the charts. No doubt that Knight can snap at the next level. Hard worker that definitely deserves a shot. He is a very, very good Long Snapper. 

Knight was impressive at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on December 2, 2018. When he is on, he is VERY on and he was pretty much on all day in GA. Ball can flat out fly back to the punter and he never even touched a snap above a ball over .80 all day. A couple times I actually took a double take since his speeds were so solid. Locking down his release point is going to be massive for Knight in increasing his accuracy and really pushing up his RSI at VEGAS XXXIII and beyond. Knight is very good and close to great.

Knight was very impressive during the Rubio Long Snapping 2018 Summer Tour. I am a big fan of where he is at with his Long Snapping now and where I know it can be in a short amount of time. His hands are quick and powerful. So powerful, they can actually overgrip the ball at times which can play with the spiral a tad. Knight's snaps can be extremely fast (sub .75 at 15 yards) and can crush the punter. Love when he is really snapping the ball with confidence and gets his eyes all the way through. Getting his eyes/head through and snapping with all he's got will move him way up. Big fan of Knight.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
