Player Review

Cody was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. Powerful Long Snapper with a good frame. Strong. Smooth. Accuracy is good. Like to see Cody focus on REALLY driving his eyes/head through to the punter. When he gets his eyes/head through, his ball keeps rising the whole back to the punter and can be in the .7s. When Cody doesn't get his eyes/head through, the ball will die half way back to the punter. Upside is good and this one, simple and easy fix will pay off a ton with speed and mushing Cody well up the rankings. 

Cody showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on December 3rd, 2017. Body is thick and he is a strong Long Snaper. Doesn't say a lot but doesn't need to since he is snapping such a nice ball back to the punter. Snapping with confidence is going to be key for Cody as I know he can snap a D1 ball very easily, but I need him to know it as well. Cody can tend to be a little timid with his power and I don't want that at all. He is a powerful Long Snapper and I need him to use all of it on each and every snap. Confidence and really driving his head through will help a ton to increase his overall speed and accuracy. Great kid with solid upside. 

Cody did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Summer Camp in GA on July 11, 2017. He is a very big and strong Long Snapper with good power throughout his body. Starting form is good and he is almost completely using his lower half to gain some solid speed on the ball. He can hit in the low .7s when he really lets the ball fly out of his hands and snaps with confidence. Reaching all the way back will increase his accuracy and raise his RSI this fall. Potential is off the charts. 

Accomplishments

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times. Scoring range is 0-80 with a 60.61 being the highest recorded.
