    Player Review

Smith was snapping a solid ball at the Rubio Long Snapping Midwest Fall Camp on December 9th, 2018. He has a really solid frame and can pass for a college athlete right now. Thick and powerful Long Snapper that snaps a nice, quick ball. I absolutely love how well he explodes back to the punter. When Smith starts his snapping motion, it is like a bomb going off and I love it. Locking down his release point to make sure his fingers are hitting the same final spot will help out a ton to increase his overall accuracy and consistency. His ball is fast, at times, and he could easily do this at the next level by fine tuning some things. Tons and tons of potential on Smith and he could easily end up with a TOP 12 Invite if he snaps the way I know he can at VEGAS XXXIII in January.

Jesse was great during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. Very impressive performance out in CA for the Underclassmen Invitational. Big and strong Long Snapper with quick hands a a powerful ball. His hands are quick and he snaps a powerful ball. The more he can really drive his elbows through to create more whip on the ball. Also, if Jesse can remember to always drive his eyes/head through, it will make him more accurate. Jesse is good, headed towards great and his improving rapidly. Keep a very close eye on him this fall and at VEGAS XXXIII in January. Watch him.

Jesse did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in OH on December 17, 2017. Big man that can pass an eyeball test quickly. Love how well he explodes out of the gate. Ball really flies out quickly. Pop is good and he is leaning back well. Need to see Jesse focus on making sure he is leading with his elbows to create more whip/speed and driving his eyes/head through to make sure his ball doesn't die along the way to the punter. Keeping the ball on a straight line back to the punter will be huge for Jesse and his ranking. Kid is very, very solid.

Jesse was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Summer Camp in IL on July 13, 2017. His ball is hovering right around the low .8s but he can get into the .7s when he really drives his eyes/head through to the punter. Whipping his head through increases his accuracy and will get his ball to consistent D1 speeds. His form is very good and I love how well Jesse is using his lower half right now. Moved side to side well. Massive amount of upside on Jesse and I am very interested to see him this fall in OH and how he handles the pressure at VEGAS XXXI.
