    Player Review

Cowan was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in NC on October 6th, 2019. He is easily one of the smoothest and most consistent Long Snappers in his class. Really accurate Long Snapper that snaps an incredibly easy to catch ball. He has great length and will be a college weightlifting coach’s dream as his frame will easily be able to put on some good weight over the next couple of years. No doubt Cowan can do this at the next level. Big move up the rankings and I am excited to see Cowan dominate at VEGAS XXXV in January.

Cowan showed me some good things during the Rubio Long Snapping 2019 Summer Tour. He is a really smooth Long Snapper that can get hot and dominate those around him. He has a tremendous long frame that will easily be able to put on some good weight over the next couple of years. College strength coach is going to drool over the possibilities of his frame. Ball is fast and he is moving well on his feet. Great upside. Massive jump in the rankings and very well deserved.

Cowan was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping NC Spring Camp on March 10th, 2019. Large Long Snapper that grows a foot every time I see him in action. Starting form is great and he is smooth with his snapping motion. Very close to using his whole body in the process. Hands reach back well and he is consistent with his snapping motion. His snaps hover in the mid .8s and will really get under .80 by VEGAS XXXIV in May if he can drive his eyes through a bit quicker and snaps with full power. Massive upside on Cowan.

Cowan did well at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXIII Event on January 19-20, 2019. Long legged Long Snapper that has a frame that will continue to put on some good size over the next couple of years. Snaps an extremely smooth ball that is easy to catch. Very fluid snapping motion that allows him to use all of his very long legs. Love when he really drives his head through to the punter. Getting his center of gravity down a bit when he is going through the agility stations will really help him go left and right. Moves forward with great acceleration. Type of Long Snapper that is always improving. Doesn't say a lot, but doesn't need to since he does all of his talking with his snaps. I like the direction Cowan is headed.
