Player Review
Doug was excellent throughout the summer at the TOP GUN camp and at the TOP 12 Camp in CA. He has a great frame and can pass for a college Long Snapper right now. Might be the most accurate Long Snapper in his class. Doug simply doesn't miss when he is snapping the ball to the punter. His follow through is excellent and his snapping motion is very fluid. Like to see Doug get some more speed on the ball by getting his legs fully involved and snapping the ball as hard as he can each and every time. Snapping motion is so smooth that he can be doing this a long, long time.
Doug had a great weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XXXI Event on January 12-14, 2018. Big and strong Long Snapper that reaches back well to give him excellent accuracy. Balance is good. Like to see Doug focus on being quicker out of the gate and speeding up his legs. He gets his legs locked but the timing is just a tad off. If Doug can lock down his timing, he could easily be one of the fastest Long Snappers in his class. Improving his overall athleticism will push him way up the rankings. Keep a very, very close eye on Doug as we progress.

RSI (Rubio Standard Index) is a scoring process developed by Rubio Long Snapping that weighs the average speed of the snap along with points for accuracy on the Rubio Target. Bonus points are awarded for a superior range of snap times.
