Connor was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping IL Fall Camp on December 15th, 2019. Strong framed Long Snapper with great power throughout his body. Starting form is excellent and his upper body gets through quickly. Hands are strong. Love to see Connor focus on being quicker with his hands. Getting rid of his right hand twitch will drastically increase his overall speed. Easy fix that will be a massive pay off. Potential is off the charts and I can't wait to see Connor keep moving up. Watch him closely at VEGAS XXXV in January.
Connor showed a lot of great things throughout the day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Regional Camp in New Jersey on October 13, 2019. A lot of upside, but would like to see him focus on eliminating the slight butt hitch he has and shift his weight back in his stance. He does a great job with getting his upper body and eyes through when he snaps, but would love to see Connor lock his legs all the way out and fully engaged to get more power on the ball. Showed good accuracy throughout the day. Excited to see him after he puts in additional work and how much he has improved!
Montgomery did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in OH on December 17, 2017. His hands are like rockets and gets the ball out of the gate very quickly. Moves very well on his feet and can easily be a factor on the punt coverage team. Need to see Montgomery focus on widening out a bit more to increase his accuracy and consistency of speed. If he widens out, it will allow his chest to get through easier and with more fluidity. Love how quick and powerful his hands are. Watch him.
