Cooney was pretty darn impressive during the 2018 Rubio Long Snapping Summer Tour. He has a nice, long frame that will easily put on about 50 lbs over the next couple of years. Already using his lower half well and is able to get fully locked with his legs. Really solid for his age, or even someone older. Moves well on his feet and has great potential. Need to see Cooney focus on really getting his eyes through to the punter and going back. At times, he will have his upper body rise up right off the bat and that can play with his accuracy and definitely his speed. Slow motion drills with his butt towards a mirror will help out and make him dominant come the fall camps and at VEGAS XXXIII in January.
