    Player Review

Chip Oquist showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on October 16th, 2022. He is large Long Snapper that is currently enrolled in college but will be able to transfer once he has his AA. Strong and powerful Long Snapper that snaps with a good rage, and I love it. Need to see Chip focus on widening out a bit to allow his larger chest all the way through with ease. This will greatly increase his overall accuracy and allow him to be much more consistent with his snaps. When Chip is on, he is very on

Chip showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on December 6th, 2020. He is a thick and powerful Long Snapper with good starting form. Chip is able to use his body well and gets his ball back to the punter in the mid to high .7s. Locking down his spiral will be the key to his greatness as that will make the ball slice through the wind more and get more overall speed on the ball. Loosening up his grip will help this process quickly and should get him to a perfect spiral at VEGAS XXXVII and beyond.

Oquist was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in GA on November 24th, 2019. His starting form is excellent and he is able to get some good pop from his lower half. The less he thinks and the harder he snaps, the better Oquist does with his snapping. Great upside with his large frame and solid lower half explosion. I liked what I saw and expect him to do some good things at VEGAS XXXV in January.

Oquist was solid during the Rubio Long Snapping 2019 Summer Tour. He has a good attitude and was very coachable. His snapping motion is smooth and he is using his whole body very well. Eyes get through like a champ. Like to see Oquist focus on leading with his elbows and not being so stiff so he is able to create more whip on the ball. Consistency of speed will be huge for Oquist this fall and at VEGAS XXXV in January.

Chip did really well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in April of 2019. He has a big, strong body and his starting form is excellent. His pop is solid and he is using all of his body really well right now. Locking down his consistency is going to be the key to greatness for Chip. Massive upside on his power alone. Really like his attitude.
