Ty Johnson did well during the Rubio Long Snapping 2019 Summer Tour. He has an outstanding frame and could pass an eyeball test from a quarter mile away. Starting form is solid and he snaps a very smooth ball. His hands are quick and reaches back to the punter really well. Making sure he is leading with his elbows and really popping his legs will give Ty a bit more speed on the ball. The upside for Ty is off the charts and college coaches should keep an eye on him this fall and at VEGAS XXXV in January.

Johnson did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in CA on March 3, 2019. Big fan of Johnson’s frame and upside. Big Long Snapper that looks like a college athlete and he is only a freshman. Balance is good and the timing of his upper body and his legs is almost perfectly timed up. Strong Long Snapper that needs to trust his massive frame and good power. When he is on, Johnson is very on. Like I said earlier, this kid is dripping with potential and could easily end up dominating his class. Watch Johnson at VEGAS XXXIV in may.
