Player Review
Ward was very solid in his VIRTUAL RANKING VIDEO. His short snaps are good and will be great once he snaps full speed at all times. HIs form is good and Ward has improved a good amount. Locking down his spiral on his pats will be huge for him. Leaning back on punts will greatly increase his accuracy. Athletically, he can be quick on his feet and the more he shows that, the better he will do. Increasing his athleticism will be huge for recruiting. His snapping is solid and I want his athleticism to be just as good.
Ward was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping NC Fall Camp on October 6th, 2019. He has an excellent attitude and was extremely coachable all day long in NC. Starting form is good and he is close to using all of his legs well. Working on slow motion drills will help a ton to get his lower half fully involved to gain more speed on the ball. If he can get his powerful legs going and whip his elbows through, Ward will easily be snapping in the .7s by VEGAS XXXV in January. Good start for Ward.
