    Player Review

Nicholas did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in GA on March 9th, 2020. He has VERY good size and can pass an eyeball test quickly. His spiral is tight and the ball is easy to catch. Easily hits in the low .8s. I would like to see him lean back a bit more to gain more speed on the ball. Also, working on slow motion drills to get the full use of his strong lower half. Locking his legs will help a ton. The upside on Nicholas is off the charts. Big jump in the rankings and well deserved.

Nicholas showed so many great things at the Rubio Long Snapping Regional Camp in New Jersey on October 13, 2019. First, he has almost the ideal build with long arms and the frame to easily add 30 more pounds without even noticing. Second, he is very strong and athletic and even though he is raw is able to snap a very competitive ball right now. He does have a slight butt hitch which he can get rid of by just dropping his butt a hair in hist stance. Focusing on going through with his upper body and not popping up will be key for him, along with getting his eyes all the way through. Lastly, not falling forward and focusing on keeping his weight back will help him put all his power into the snap. So much upside on him. I cannot wait to see his development and improvement at future Rubio Long Snapping events!
