Vegas Camps

Open to all Long Snappers from 8th grade through college transfers, the Vegas Camp combines elite instruction with national exposure. This two-day event is where the nation’s top talent comes to compete and be recognized.

Vegas Camp

The Rubio Long Snapping Vegas Events ARE the end all be all for the high school, junior college and 4-Year College Transfer specialists of the world. For over 17 years, they have produced the most talent year in and year out and have been the biggest, and best, Long Snapping experience one can imagine. The two day Events are OPEN TO ALL Long Snappers (8th Grade, High School, Junior College, 4-Year College Transfer). You do NOT need an invite and they are on a first come, first served basis.

Overview

​“Special Teams” is one third of a football game. Long Snapping are so important, yet often times is completely overlooked. In the past, dedicated specialists seldom received the attention and recognition they deserved - especially on a national level. THAT HAS CHANGED! Rubio Long Snapping and the National Snapping Events have created the necessary platform to put Long Snappers in the spotlight. These annual events provide top-notch instruction which helps each Long Snapper reach their full potential; furthermore, it has established credible rating standards that college football coaches from across the nation use for recruiting purposes. The Vegas Events will serve to not only teach you the fundamentals of Long Snapping, but also bring together the top Long Snapper from across the country; all at one location.

This is the ideal platform for you to prove yourself. Over the past 18 years, THOUSANDS of Long Snappers had attended these prestigious Events. Hundreds of participants that have attended have earned full ride scholarships to Division 1 schools. And many many many more to D1AA - D3 Schools.  It doesn’t matter what team you play for, what league or division you play in, or what state or country you play in – this levels the playing ground! Exposure

  • This is the SUPER BOWL for Long Snappers. No other Long Snapping event comes close to the exposure offered by the National Snapping Events.

  • Rubio Long Snapping is the most credible recruiting source for Long Snappers in the country. The “TOP 12” s the list to be on if you are seeking national exposure. From the Events, the Rubio Long Snapping Staff will select the “TOP 12” Seniors/JC & the “TOP 12” Underclassman (January) and (May).

  • Over 90% of the "TOP 12" have received full ride D1A scholarships in the past. Over 99% members of the "TOP 12" have gone on to play college football.

  • In addition the “TOP 12” Underclassman will be invited to attend an exclusive summer camp to train and compete amongst that elite group. 

  • The Vegas Events offer the best exposure possible for Long Snappers. Rubio Long Snapping has personal relationships with over 100 D1A Universities and many more at other levels. This is your chance to get recognized on a national scale

  • Rubio Long Snapping work very closely with Scout.com, Rivals.com, Espn.com, etc. and have also been featured in Sports Illustrated, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Deadspin, etc.

    • Saturday is an instructional day and will end by 6pm

    • Sunday is a charting and competition day and will end by 3pm

    • *Both days, participants will only be required to be on the field during group times which will be determined one week prior to the event. Groups may start as early as 6:45am each day so we recommend you arrive in Las Vegas on Friday.

Spring Camps

Spring Long Snapping Camps are open to ALL Long Snappers. You do NOT have to be invited to attended and any Spring Rubio Long Snapping Camp. These Long Snapping Camps are open to Long Snappers from 8th grade (younger with permission from Chris Rubio) through college.

The winners of each final compeition camp receive FREE admission to the Rubio Long Snapping National Vegas Event in May (travel and accommodations not included)

These camps are one day camps that offer instruction, film and classroom session, Long Snapping discussion, NCSA recruiting meeting, nutritional discussion and competition. Attending these camps gives you top notch instruction and the chance to be added to the and Rubio Long Snapping player ranking section of the website.

Rising Stars Super Show Case Camp

This is a two day event that Rubio Long Snapping will be completely gearing towards the athletes and their parents/guardians. This camp is meant to not only get the athletes headed in the right direction in the beginning of their high school careers, but also their parents. It will provide information regarding nutrition, social media, recruiting, film, education and, of course, on field instruction. This event is just as much for the parents/guardians as it is the athletes!

Long Snappers that will be entering the 9th, 10th or 11th grade. This is open to all Underclassman. 

Instruction

There will be formal meetings/classroom sessions on individual topics such as….

  1. Training (what level is right for the underclassmen athlete, how often, proper techniques)

  2. Nutrition and Lifting (Good habits, bad habits)

  3. Social Media (Setting up and using the proper social media outlets – this has become a must)

  4. Filming (proper angles, techniques, times, set up)

  5. Education (the importance of it, standards, year by year plan)

 

College recruiting for Long Snappers is finally getting where it needs to be. Scholarships are being offered earlier and earlier each year. Early exposure is necessary these days. The Rubio Long Snapping Rising Star Super Show Case Event is the perfect opportunity to make a name for yourself and solidify your national ranking at the perfect time. The middle of the summer is now the time college coaches build their underclassmen lists. You want to be on that list. This camp will get you there. It is also your first opportunity to prove that you are a "TOP 12" candidate in your class. The camp is set in July for a reason, college coaches asked us to do this. They want the inside track early. Don't be surprised to see more and more underclassmen offered during the season in the near future.
