AJ Wheeler did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Nashville on February 23rd, 2025. Wheeler’s long frame has room to pack on size over the next couple of years, setting him up as a Long Snapper with huge potential. Wheeler’s super quick hands launch the ball back to the punter like a rocket, and Wheeler gets really good pop from his lower half. I’d love to see Wheeler focus on keeping his back parallel to the ground so he keeps tapping into that super athletic lower half. Wheeler’s ball is tight, his spiral is gorgeous, and he’s snapping high .7s to low .8s with great upside already. I’m fired up to see Wheeler dominate at VEGAS XLVI on May 3-4, 2025, The more his speeds stay consistently in the high .7s, the quicker he moves up.
