Bruce McDowell had a very impressive weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Stars Camp in Lewiston, ID on June 27-28, 2026. He is a large, powerful Long Snapper who is incredibly difficult to move. Bruce is just starting out in the Long Snapping process, but he is a very quick learner. In just two days, he went from knowing virtually nothing about Long Snapping to consistently snapping the ball 15 yards, which is extremely impressive. He has a super powerful frame, quick hands, and absolutely no wasted movement in his snapping motion. Slow motion drills will help a ton by getting his lower half fully involved, while lay down drills will help tighten up his spiral. Bruce brings a really good attitude to the field and has a tremendous amount of upside as he continues to develop. Looking forward to seeing him this fall!
