Charles Zegarra had a solid day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Los Angeles on October 19th. He’s a thick and powerful Long Snapper with a good frame and strong hands that help him finish well through to the punter. His follow through is consistent and creates a smooth, catchable ball. To take the next step, focusing on slow motion drills will be key in getting his powerful lower half more involved, which will bring more consistent speed to his snaps. Locking down his spiral will also be huge, allowing the ball to slice through the wind more efficiently. Big upside here with the tools to make a jump. I am looking forward to seeing Zegarra at VEGAS 47 in January!
