Clayton Macy proved once again why he is one of the most accurate and consistent Long Snappers in his class at the Rubio Long Snapping TOP 12 Camp in Lewiston, ID on July 7-9, 2026. He has a solid athletic frame, is built like a well-conditioned wrestler, and approaches the position with an outstanding work ethic. Clayton is like a machine—snap after snap looks exactly the same. He is an extremely coachable Long Snapper. On the first day, I asked him to extend the ball just a little farther to create more whip and make sure he wasn't offsides. It took him all of two snaps to make the adjustment, and from that point forward he was completely locked in. He consistently snapped in the high .7s with outstanding smoothness, accuracy, and consistency. Athletically, he was phenomenal, running a 4.80 in the 40-yard dash and posting a 4.93 in the 5-10-5, proving he has the speed to fly downfield and make plays on the punt coverage team. What will truly separate Clayton at the college level is his attitude. He is the type of hardworking Long Snapper that you tell what to do once, and you can consider it done.
