Deacon Byrd had a strong showing at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Dallas, TX on October 26th, 2025. He’s a thick and powerful Long Snapper with a solid frame and excellent strength. His starting form is solid and he does a great job following through all the way to the punter. Slow motion drills will be a big benefit for him moving forward as they will help get his lower half fully engaged, which will lead to more consistent snap speeds. Byrd is a powerful athlete with tremendous potential. I am looking forward to seeing Byrd at VEGAS 47 in January!
