Deacon Byrd showed a lot to like at the Rubio Long Snapping Dallas, TX Camp on March 1, 2026, bringing a strong attitude and I like his confidence. He has a solid frame with room to keep adding good weight over the next couple of years, and his starting form is good with a smooth ball. His hands are quick, the ball comes out clean, and when his spiral is locked down it is easy to catch for the punter. He is close to using his whole body really well, and as his lower half gets fully involved his overall speed and consistency will continue to climb. Deacon is coachable, improving, and clearly headed in the right direction, and I’m excited to see him at a Rubio Long Snapping camp in the spring and at VEGAS 48 in May. More consistent speed pushes him to 4 stars
