Declan McKernan did really well at VEGAS XLV on January 18-19. He moves well on his feet and has a good frame for the position. His starting form is really impressive, showing that he has put in the work on the fundamentals. You can tell he does slow-motion drills because his form is nearly perfect. Declan gets a really nice pop on his snap, which helps generate solid speed. He was really consistent throughout the whole weekend and when he is on he was very on. As Declan continues to work hard his form will only get better. He is a hardworking long snapper who is always looking to improve. Don’t be shocked if Declan starts to be one of the top long snappers in his class and I’m looking forward to him proving it at the next Rubio Long Snapping Camp near him. Right on the cusp of 4.5 star.
