Derek Vickers turned in a very strong performance at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Chicago, IL on April 19, 2026. He is a thick, strong Long Snapper with a good attitude and is very coachable. His starting form is great, he gets good pop from his lower half, and does a nice job using his whole body throughout the snap. Derek has shown great improvement over the last year and his speed is solid and continuing to improve. Locking down his release point will be huge for increasing his overall accuracy. The more athletic he becomes and the more consistent his speed gets, the more he positions himself to lock down a TOP 12 spot. I am looking forward to seeing him at VEGAS 48 in May.
