Derek Vickers was very solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Chicago, IL, on April 13th, 2025. Vickers is a thick and powerful Long Snapper with good starting form. He uses his legs really well, and has good pop with zero wasted movement. Locking down his spiral and snapping with full power are the keys to Vickers’s greatness. His snapping motion is very good, and the more Vickers trusts it, the more dominant and faster his snaps will be. I can’t wait to see him crush it at VEGAS XLVI on May 3-4, 2025. Right on the cusp of 3.5 stars and with just a tad more consistency, he is there!
