Elijah Alcalá had an impressive day at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Charlotte, NC on November 9th, 2025. He has a tremendous frame and easily passes an eyeball test from a college coach—he looks the part. His starting form is solid, and his hands are quick, getting the ball back with ease. What stands out is how quick his snaps are even though he’s barely using any of his powerful lower half yet. When he follows all the way through with his fingers, his spiral tightens up nicely and becomes much easier to catch. Smoothing out his overall snapping motion with slow motion drills will unlock even more speed and consistency. This kid has a massive amount of upside and is definitely one to watch. I am looking forward to seeing Alcalá at VEGAS 47 in January!
