Elijah Acalá put on an outstanding performance at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS XLVII National Showcase Camp in Las Vegas, NV on January 18-19, 2026. He has one of the best frames in his class—so impressive that he can pass an eyeball test from a mile away. I even ran into him randomly around town after the event and somehow he looked even bigger off the field. Elijah is an extremely smooth Long Snapper with excellent starting form. There’s zero wasted movement, and everything he does is fluid from start to finish. He makes snapping look effortless, like he’s barely trying—and that’s a very good thing. The more he presses the gas with his snapping power and athleticism, the more college coaches are going to line up for him this summer. This kid is really good and still has room to grow into something special. I’m looking forward to seeing Acalá at a Rubio Long Snapping spring time location.
