Ely Chavez did well at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Stars Camp in Lewiston, Idaho on June 28-29, 2025. Chavez is a very personable Long Snapper with a solid attitude and great presence on the field. His balance is impressive, his hands are quick, and he snaps a tight spiral that slices cleanly through the wind. He consistently hovers in the mid .8s, and the harder he snaps, the more speed he generates thanks to his strong form. With more speed on the ball, Ely will be right at 4 stars. Ely has the tools to snap at the next level, and I look forward to seeing him at a camp near him in the fall.
