Grayden Cardwell had an outstanding day at the Rubio Long Snapping Northern California
camp on Sunday, March 8th. Grayden’s an athletic long snapper who moves well on his feet,
good size, good frame. He rips the ball back to the punter and the thing never slows down.
Does a really good job using his lower body, gets it all in there. Some of the quickest hands in
his class. If he locks down that release point and tightens up the spiral, because his speed’s
already top-tier, he could be snapping Division I-level balls. When he’s on, he’s really on:
consistent, smooth, just dialed in. Keep an eye on Grayden at Vegas 48 in May.
