Hudson Friend had an outstanding weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Stars Camp in Lewiston, ID on June 27-28, 2026. He is a very athletic Long Snapper with a great frame and easily passes an eyeball test from a college coach. Hudson has good starting form, solid balance, follows through well, and snaps a tight spiral that makes his ball very easy to catch. Slow motion drills will help him get his entire body more involved in the snapping motion, leading to more consistent speed on the ball. I would also love to see him be just a little quicker with his hands right out of the gate to maximize his already impressive snapping motion. Hudson has a tremendous amount of potential and has the physical tools to play two positions at the college level. Looking forward to seeing him this fall!
