Ian Thompson had a really solid first showing at the Rubio Long Snapping Dallas, TX Camp on March 1, 2026, bringing an athletic frame with room to add good weight over the next couple of years. He’s very coachable and shows excellent starting form, and his hands are extremely quick which allows the ball to jump out of the gate with great initial speed. Ian already does a nice job using his body in the snapping motion, and the more he drives his head through and locks down his spiral the more overall speed he will generate on the ball. Really good first camp for Ian and plenty to build on moving forward. I’m excited to see him at a Rubio Long Snapping camp in the spring and at VEGAS 48 in May. Very high 3.5 star and right on the cusp of 4 stars.
