Jacob Poff was fantastic at VEGAS XLV on January 18-19, 2025. He is, EASILY, one of the most athletic Long Snappers in his class. This kid has the potential to play two positions in college if the school will let him. He practically floats when he is doing athletic. Poff has done a great job of putting more oomph on his ball to allow him to hover right at .79 while he is well under 5 flat on his forty times. Poff is easily one of the smoothest Long Snappers in his class and is always improving. His punter is going to absolutely love how catchable his ball is on every single snap.
Jacob Poff had a great three days at the Rubio Long Snapping TOP 12 Camp in Idaho this July. Super athletic Long Snapper that is a beast on his feet. Pure athlete that will easily be a factor on his team's punt coverage team. Smooth snapping motion and his spiral is very tight back to the punter. Good, quick hands and Poff is very coachable. Might be athletic enough to play two positions at a smaller school if he so desired. The more weight he puts on, the more Poff will be able to dominate his class and in college. Excellent attitude.
