John Phillips showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Chicago, IL, on April 13th, 2025. Phillips has a good personality and is coachable . His decent starting form shines, and Phillips follows through really well to the punter. He already gets solid pop from his lower half, with the ball jumping out of the gate quickly. I love when Phillips follows all the way through with his eyes and his spiral is locked down. He’s off to a good start.
