Joseph Mares was solid at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Southern California on March 9th, 2025. Mares’s decent starting form will be great once he flattens out his back as a Long Snapper. His hands are quick with no wasted movement. Mares’s upper body gets through like a champ to the punter. The spiral can be very tight, making Mares’s ball easy to catch. Slow-motion drills will help Mares get more overall speed on the ball. I can’t wait to see him clean it all up at VEGAS XLVI on May 3-4, 2025
