Joseph Mares had a very solid weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping VEGAS 48 Event on May 2-3, 2026. He has good starting form and is a very hard-working Long Snapper who does a great job using his whole body throughout the snapping motion. The harder Joseph snaps, the better he performs because his form is already so strong. He shows quick hands, good control, and solid balance throughout his reps. Joseph is a very controlled Long Snapper with a great foundation. Being a little looser on his feet during the agility section will help a ton with his recruiting profile, and the more he presses the gas with both his snapping and running, the more dominant he will become. I am looking forward to seeing him continue to develop this summer at a Rising Stars Camp in Idaho or Illinois.
