Mason Sabawi had a very strong weekend at the Rubio Long Snapping Rising Stars Camp in Lewiston, ID on June 27-28, 2026. He has good starting form, is built thick, and has very quick hands with absolutely no wasted movement in his snapping motion. The ball jumps out of the gate extremely well, his spiral can be very tight, and his upper body gets through like a champ. Slow motion drills will help a ton by getting his powerful lower half fully involved in the snapping motion, leading to more consistent speed on the ball. I also love how well Mason gets his eyes all the way through to the punter, which is a huge strength in his form. Developing more consistent speed on the ball will really push him up to the next level. Mason also has a really good attitude both on and off the field. Looking forward to seeing him this fall! Really close to 3 stars!
