Mateo Santiago dominated the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in Pittsburgh, PA on April 18, 2026, earning the overall championship. He is a thick and powerful Long Snapper with great starting form. His spiral is tight and the ball is easy to catch, and his upper body gets through really well to the punter. Mateo is super close to using his whole body perfectly, and once that clicks, he will easily be snapping at consistent college level speeds. He shows good accuracy and consistency, and brings a good personality on and off the field. I am looking forward to seeing him at VEGAS 48 in May.
