Mateo Santiago has a good day at the Rubio Long Snapping Spring Camp in New Jersey on April 6th, 2025. Santiago is a thick-bodied Long Snapper with a good frame. He has good starting form, and the ball does a good job of jumping out of the gate. Santiago is pretty darn close to using all of his strong lower half already in his snaps, which is very impressive for someone in his class. Driving his elbows and locking down his spiral will drastically increase Santiago’s ball speed. When he’s on, Santiago is very on. He’s shown solid improvement since the last camp. I can’t wait to see him compete in his class at VEGAS XLVI on May 3-4, 2025
