Matthew Schirmer had a strong performance at the Rubio Long Snapping Fall Camp in Los Angeles on October 19th, 2025. He continues to fill out his frame and is putting on good weight, looking more and more college-ready each time out. He brings a tremendous personality to the table—someone his future coaches will absolutely love both on and off the field. Schirmer is a well-rounded Long Snapper who not only thrives on the gridiron but also shines in his school’s theater program, a rare and impressive combination. His starting form is gorgeous, and he snaps a clean, tight spiral that is very catchable. He’s already using his entire body well, and the more he trusts his excellent form and snaps with full aggression, the more dominant he’ll be at the college level. I am looking forward to seeing Schirmer at VEGAS 47 in January!

Matthew Schirmer had a strong showing at the Rubio Long Snapping TOP 12 Camp in Lewiston, Idaho on July 8-10, 2025. Schirmer has a great personality, is easy to talk to, and is exactly the kind of guy college coaches will love having in their program. His form is solid and he snaps a smooth, clean ball back to the punter with consistency. The harder Matthew snaps and the more he presses the gas with his lower half, the more dominant he’ll become. He’s good and right on the edge of great—once his confidence fully locks in, he’ll be a force at the next level.
