Mitchell Harralson

Player Review

Mitchell showed me some good things at the Rubio Long Snapping spring camp in TX on February 28th, 2016. He is built VERY long with a frame that can put on some good weight over the next couple of years. Mitchell is a really consistent and shows good accuracy. Love to see him make sure he gets fully set before he snaps the ball. Tends to just pop into position and go. Needs to get his whole body set so it knows what to do next. Also, making sure he gets his long legs involved will really increase the speed of the ball. Slow motion drills will help to increase the fluidity of the snapping motion. Legs are so long that once he gets the fully locked, he will put a hole in the punter and it wouldn't surprise me to see him in the .7s by XXVIII in May. Finally, needs to lock down his spiral. Ball had a heavy wobble (due to him adjusting his left hand right before the snap) and will need to have a spiral to increase speed and catchability. VERY big upside and Mitchell is a learner so I expect this all fixed sooner than later. Keep an eye on him.
