Nick Ekstrom showed up to the Rubio Long Snapping San Diego Spring Camp on February 22, 2026 looking like a powerful, ready-made Long Snapper with a super thick and strong frame. He has a great personality that coaches will appreciate on and off the field, and his starting form is excellent — you could eat off his back before he snaps the ball, which is exactly what you want to see. Ekstrom snaps a really smooth ball that is easy to catch with a gorgeous spiral, and he already uses his body well throughout the motion. Getting his eyes through in one quick, aggressive motion and locking down his release point will drastically increase his overall accuracy and push him up the rankings in a hurry. He carries a really good attitude and is right on the cusp of 4 stars, and I’m excited to see Ekstrom continue to develop and compete at VEGAS 48 in May!
