Peyton Nickel

Player Review

Peyton Nickel showcased the type of athleticism that separates elite Long Snappers at the Rubio Long Snapping TOP 12 Camp in Lewiston, ID on July 7-9, 2026. He has a nice athletic frame, is built well, and still has plenty of room to add quality weight over the next couple of years. Peyton is already strong, and you can tell he knows where the weight room is. His starting form is very, very good, and I absolutely love his snapping motion. It is quick, precise, has absolutely no wasted movement, and the ball jumps out of the gate with tremendous pop. The harder Peyton snaps the ball, the better he performs because his mechanics are so fundamentally sound. His spiral is tight, making the ball extremely easy to catch. He consistently snapped in the high .7s while posting an outstanding 4.88 in the 40-yard dash and a ridiculous 4.51 in the 5-10-5. This kid is a pure athlete. As he continues to add size while maintaining this level of athleticism, he has everything it takes to dominate at the next level. Looking forward to seeing him this fall!
